P2 really enjoyed the ‘class party’ investigation. The investigation was based on the class having a party and the teacher only bought enough items for everyone. First we worked out that you could only have one thing- either a drink, biscuit, strawberry or a bun. Though some children did suggest that we could share the items by cutting them.
We realised that the teacher used a pattern to give out the items.Once we knew this we could work out what each person could have, what the 10th person would get and even worked out the last item given out. Super logical thinking.
