In P3 we have been exploring the weather as our new topic.
This week we made our own weather measuring instruments and used them to record the weather conditions at West Wind Primary School. We compared our school made instruments with a weather station Ms McCormick had gotten for school. We found that whilst the ones we made from paper, straws, cardboard and paper/plastic/polystyrene cups worked just as well as the commercially made one, they wouldn’t last as long as they weren’t made from hard wearing materials.
We are going to continue Weather Watching and completing our Weather Diaries every day!
