Monday 22nd April is Earth day. P7 spent today thinking about our impact on our Earth and what we can do to be less wasteful.
Habitat ReStore on the Portaferry Road had kindly invited us for a visit to see how they repurpose and upcycle furniture.
Pete and Michael, the shop manager, told us about what they do and then let us repurpose some tiles in an art activity. We also were given a tour of the shop to see just what they have available.
The children have come home with leaflets today explaining how anyone can donate or shop at the store. It's definitely worth a look!
