On Friday 9th March an excited group of children set off to Londonderry Park to take part in a tag rugby blitz. 20 primary schools from the area were represented. We were in a group with Millisle, Portaferrry and Kircubbin Primary Schools. We played matches against each of these teams.
The whole session was a fun and educational activity with the children receiving tips and coaching throughout. We definitely improved the more we played. We ran in quite a few tries and should be really proud of ourselves!
Everyone really enjoyed themselves and would love to go again. We highly recommend it for future years!
