Today was World Book Day. Each class in school has been busy creating wonderful displays based on a class novel or favourite book. We have a variety of work on show from painting, collage, book reviews and crafts. They are displayed around the school hall so please drop in and have a look.
To mark the day we enjoyed paired reading, this involves Key Stage 1 classes being partnered with a Key Stage 2 class. The younger children read with their older reading buddy. Some classes had a go at a story book treasure hunt around the school, this proved quite competitive!
